Zoe: She's Langston High's star reporter, a real Lois Lane in the making. With a nose for news, Zoe will do just about anything to get a story - even if she has to step on a few toes to do it. Zoe's second "off the record" hobby is covering the latest gossip in school. (Everyone is afraid of the "poisonous Pemberton pen.") There's no doubt she can be a "baddy" and will give Jolee and Cassandra a run for their money when it comes to attitude.
As things unfold for the Crew, Zoe won't be far behind. She starts to notice some things that just don't quite add up. Zoe even begins to wonder if the Crew has some sort of secret. If they do, will she be able to prove it? Knowing Zoe, she will certainly try.
KYLE: "Do whatever it takes to survive." Spending years on the streets with his best friend Trent taught him this lesson. Growing up in a orphanage without the warm comforts
and guidance of a regular family, left Kyle with a hardened heart He's never truly trusted anyone. Why should he? Everyone in his life had abandoned him.
It wasn't long before Kyle and Trent came to believe "the streets" were the best that life had
to offer. That belief soon changed. Unexpectedly, someone approached the two young men
and offered them what they'd dreamed of for so long - a place to belong, a place to call home. However, "all that glitters isn't gold." This offer came with a price, a price that Kyle and Trent
may not discover until it's too late.
Alice: She's the quiet one, the type of girl that people speak nicely of but don't ever think to talk to. Issues at home have left Alice with somewhat low self esteem. Dancing, a hobby that she doesn't tell anyone at school about, is her one way of escape - the one time when she actually feels special.
However, there's a great deal of change on the horizon for Alice. Circumstances will arise that will completely alter the life she knows.
