He's a budding inventor and a whiz when it comes to computers but don’t let his smarts fool ya’.  He’s not the stereotypical, computer “nerd”.  With a style, charisma and sense of humor that’s all his own, Wire is definitely the life of the party. 

Though he’s quick to crack a joke, he’s mature enough to know when to take things seriously and loyalty to the Crew is an example.  When it comes to Carter, Tommy and Selena he’s quite protective and is willing to go out on limb for his friends – and anyone else in need. He'll fight for the underdog everytime.

Wire does, however, have his stubborn streak.  Once an idea gets in his head, he goes for it, throwing caution to the wind.  There are even times when his stubbornness lands him in a heap of trouble leaving the Crew to come to the rescue.  That’s what friends are for, right?

When he’ s not creating some new invention in his garage or hangin' with the Crew, you’ll find Wire front row center at any convention that has the word “Star” in it. He also loves music, from techno, to rock to hip-hop Wire can be the DJ at any party.

                                   
                                           



BEHIND THE SCENES
In real life the character of Wire is played by none other than Joshua Martinez and needless to say Joshua has really connected to the role of Wire, however different they may be.  Wire loves the sciences and spends his time inventing gadgets and going to conventions. Joshua, on the other hand, enjoys World Geography, English, playing the guitar and studying martial arts - he currently holds a 2nd degree black belt in Tae-kwon-do.  However, when it comes to food, both Wire and Joshua love to chow down: enchiladas, tacos and the all time favorite mac n’ cheese!
