Welcome to the Carter’s Crew: Spotlight. We’re going to take a few minutes and get to know some of our cast members. Let’s get started.
CS: So how are you doing today Brittany?
BJ: I’m doing well, thank you!
CS: The audience has read a little about your character Charlotte in the Crew: character run down section. Is there something else about the character we may not know?
BJ: Well, I think Charlotte is a collage of every teen age girl out there, she faces so many things that girls are going through, like dealing with self esteem, relationships etc. That’s why I want to work really hard on the character, I really believe in her and want to see her become stronger.
CS: All right, cool. Tell us about some of the similarities and differences you have between you and Charlotte. Why do you think you connect to the role?
BJ: LOL, I understand what she’s going through with the whole Jay thing; we've all had a crush at one time or another!
A difference: confidence, she needs to have more of it. It’s like she’s holding back and not allowing herself to be all that she can be. She doesn’t realize her worth or her inner beauty and that’s something her friends (Jay and Jolee) are always telling her.
CS: Well, Charlotte is a beautiful girl on the outside too! So, you are now part of the Crew!! How do you feel about all of this?
BJ: I am absolutely ecstatic! I love Carter’s Crew and everything it stands for! The cast really does get along and we have so much in common with each other. We all appreciate the fact that the Lord is in our lives.
CS: Onto another area, being part of the production means long hours, early mornings and a great deal of work? Does that bother you at all?
BJ: No, not at all, if I have coffee, I’m up for as long as you need me!
CS: We’ll remember that! Okay Brittany, let’s get to know you a bit more.
CS: What’s your favorite color? Purple
CS: What’s your favorite food? Pizza
CS: What’s your favorite sport? Volleyball, I played for four years.
CS: Favorite Christian artist or band? Emery
CS: How has a relationship with the Lord helped your life?
BJ: Without God I don’t know where I would be. He has helped me in so many areas of my life, like relationships with people and how I even see myself! I have learned and continuing to learn to see myself as he sees me!!!! The Lord freely gives his peace, love and mercy, no matter who you are - because in his eyes you are something wonderful.
