Now, Selena’s gentle nature doesn’t mean she’s a weak little wallflower – not by any means. She knows how to stand up for herself and holds her own as a member of the Crew – you have to when you’re the only girl! She keeps a cool head in tight situations and thinks on her feet.
A gentle spirit, a kind heart and a vibrant personality describes the lovely Selena! This special young lady brings a quiet strength to the Crew and those she interacts with. When someone needs a friend, an encouraging word or a gentle smile, Selena is always there, ready to help. 
Physically, Selena can handle whatever the bad guys dish out. As an athletic person who enjoys physical activities, she can flip her way out of a situation – literally!
Like all girls do, from time to time, Selena struggles with her self-confidence and can worry a little too much about what others think of her. Cassandra doesn't help the situation by picking on her about one thing or another and calling her only by her last name, "Paris!" However, Selena still manages to make it through and with kinds words from Jerrica, a friend, (who you’ll meet soon), she comes to realize true beauty isn’t what the magazines say – it’s what the Lord says it is. For you are "fearfully and wonderfully made." 
Selena loves fashion and always has her note pad close by so she can sketch her
newest creations. A few of Selena's fashion designs haven’t come out quite
right - in other words, they were real fashion disasters (something the guys never
let her forget!) but she continues on anyway.
Selena also enjoys hanging out at – where else? – the mall and eating strawberry smoothies!
BEHIND THE SCENES:
NAME: MEGAN McGOWN
Megan is an outgoing young lady with a passion for Christ and her favorite scripture
is Isaiah 41:10. Much like her character Selena, she enjoys reaching out and
serving others. She has a wide variety of interests and hobbies such as cheerleading,
volleyball, track, photography and fashion design!
PRODUCER NOTES:
Selena was a character that we wanted to be feminie but still strong. The actress who played
the character of Selena would need a strength that was believable enough to hang with
the guys of the Crew, deal with the bad guys and still be all girl! Megan auditioned for the
role of Selena and brought all of the characteristics we wanted for the lovely Selena.
She was totally convincing, even in the tough moments and equally as charming in the
funny moments.
Her chemistry with Carson was automatic, and we knew we had found the right
combination with the two of them. Megan will be a wonderful "leading lady"
to watch and we're looking forward to seeing her shine on screen!
