Spotlight: Megan
Welcome to the Carter’s Crew: Spotlight. In this section we'll spotlight a cast member and get to know a little more about them.
CS: So, how are you doing today Megan?
MM: I’m doing great. Thanks!
CS: The audience has read a little about your character in the Crew Character Run Down section. Is there something else you can tell us about Selena that we may not know?
MM: Well, the biggest thing that comes to mind is that Selena is really loyal to the Crew. They are very important to her and she depends on them too, which is great. I can just imagine her praying for the Crew through good times and bad.
CS: What are some of the similarities and differences you have between you and your character?
MM: Similarities, we both of course love the Lord. Oh, we both are into fashion, I love that part about my character!!!! Also, she also isn’t cocky – but a real compassionate person. Differences: I have siblings, she doesn’t. She gets self-conscious from to time about her looks and whether or not people like her. For me, I always keep in mind that it’s what God thinks about me that's important.
CS: It seems you really connect with your character Selena.
MM: Oh yes! We have so much in common. She’s the type of girl that stands up for what she believes in – and I like that.
CS: You’re a new member of the crew, we’ve got some exciting things coming. How do you feel about all of this?!
MM: I’m super excited! The biggest thing for me is, that being part of Carter’s Crew (acting) is something that I have always loved to do and I’m doing it for the Lord! That’s something I’m really passionate about.
CS: Tell us about the audition process. What was that like?
MM: On one hand you get the case of the nerves but then on the other hand it was exciting! When I went back for the various callback auditions it just all clicked for me. It was the perfect atmosphere, everyone was really great to read with and I enjoyed it.

CS: How has a relationship with the Lord helped your life?
MM: When I’m having a moment and I feel in doubt, I know I can go to him because he’s my rock. I always remember that the struggles we go through in life doesn't mean that God doesn’t love us. He's there to help us through those tough times. He never forsakes us and his word promises he is there –always!
