Welcome to the Carter’s Crew: Spotlight. In this section will spotlight a cast member and get to know a little more about them!
CS: So how are you doing today?
KK: Thanks and I'm doing great!
CS: The audience got a chance to read a little about your character in the Crew: Character Run Down section. Is there something else you can tell us about your character that we may not know?
KK: Well, Zoe is an only child and since she doesn't have any older brother and sisters to interact with, writing is her world. Also, she thinks that she’s really mature and is always trying to act older than she really is. (That’s the main reason why she’s always calling Carter a child.) Let’s see, what else, Zoe hates the color pink and anything frilly or kiddy, like I said, she likes to be mature. Although, she does have a little bunny called wiggles. That’s the one thing she holds onto from childhood.
CS: So why do you think you connect to your character?
KK: I love writing just like Zoe does. I'm curious and I like trying to figure out things, get information and doing research. I've been in debates, written speeches and a lot of these things are what a reporter does. What I don't connect with is - she’ll go to any lengths to get her story, even if that means hurting people. And for me, I feel horrible cutting someone in line by accident!! I also have the holy spirit and Christ in my life and that's something she doesn't have.
CS: Things are really starting to grow with Carter’s Crew, with our webpage and the series is going into production soon. How do you feel about all of that? What do you think about the fact that people are being introduced to you all over the world because of the internet?
KK: It’s going to be a great experience. I’m amazed that God gave me this opportunity. It's such a blessing and I'm so excited.
CS: Speaking of the series - that means early mornings and long hours.
Are you ready for that?
KK: Oh yeah! When it's something I love, it's easy; especially for Carter's Crew, I won’t even sleep for ya! I love it. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Let’s get to know you a bit more, let’s do a little one on one.

CS: If you could play another character who would it be?
KK:Cassandra or Jolee, I like playing roles that are different than me. It stretches my acting ability and point of view.
CS: How has a relationship with the Lord helped your life?
KK: He's helped me a great deal. When friends aren't there or when things crumble he comes in and helps you - even when you don't deserve it. I would tell people to give God a chance. He really wants to be part of your life, to comfort you and be your best friend, whatever you need. All you need to do is let him.
