This series follows the intricate lives of its heroes, Carter, Wire, Tommy and Selena as their eyes are opened to new worlds they now belong to and know they can never ignore.  The four young teens, up to this point, have led normal lives; hanging out with friends, homework, youth group, school, and of course dealing with their school RIVALS - K.C., JOLEE and CASSANDRA who take every opportunity to turn their lives upside down! 

However, things change and a world of intrigue is revealed to them.  But, as the Carter's Crew discovers, that's only the surface - for things are not what they seem. The Crew and those they face will be challenged in ways never thought possible, and at times their faith stretched to its very limit. Some hearts will be broken but many will be changed, some lives lost but many will be saved.
